Since its founding in 1969, St. Luke’s Cancer Institute has been committed to improving outcomes and quality of life of patients with cancer and blood disorders through research. St. Luke's Cancer Institute is pleased to offer its patients access to a wide variety of clinical trials focusing on improved cure rates, more effective treatments with fewer side effects, lengthened patient survival, and enhanced quality of life.
As a member of the Pacific Cancer Research Consortium (PCRC) in partnership with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) sponsored Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) grant, St. Luke's Cancer Institute provides patients the opportunity to participate in the same clinical trials available at larger cancer centers, without having to leave the comfort of their community.
Clinical trials are offered at St. Luke's Cancer Institute for several types of cancers including, but not limited to, cancers of the breast, lungs, kidneys, ovaries, bladder, head/neck, and colon, as well as leukemia and lymphoma.
Clinical trials are offered at all five St. Luke's Cancer Institute locations. Patients who participate in St. Luke's Cancer Institute’s oncology clinical trials have the opportunity to advance evidence-based medicine and help discover new cancer care and treatment options that benefit the local and global community. Our experienced physicians, nurses, and research personnel are committed to pairing patients with their best possible treatment options.
