Pediatric Cancer Research Studies

Children are not simply small adults. Our approach to caring for them must be different and the research team at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute is focused on providing access to clinical trials that match their needs and drive changes to treatments specifically for kids. We also understand how important it is for families to stay close to their home and loved ones when they're faced with a diagnosis of cancer. As Idaho’s only member of the Children’s Oncology Group, the premier childhood cancer research organization in the world, St. Luke's gives patients access to the same treatment they would receive at larger centers across the country without leaving their community.

With a wide variety of clinical trials available, we offer the highest standard of care and leading-edge treatment for children and adolescents with cancer. Approximately 40% of childhood cancer patients participate in clinical trials, helping to pave the way for higher survival rates, more effective cancer treatments, and better management of side effects.
