Physical or orthopedic therapy can help you recover from an injury or surgery and can also help you improve functional movement when dealing with chronic issues such as arthritis. We also offer balance and vestibular therapy.

Our goal is to get you moving, pain free, so you can return to your favorite activities and perform your best at home, at work, or when playing sports.

    Biography

    Mason Fessler, PT, DPT is currently a sports physical therapy resident at St. Luke's. He has experience in the treatment of orthopedic and sports injuries in patients of all ages. 

    Mason earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Willamette University where he was on the baseball team. He earned his doctorate of physical therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions.

    Jami Garver-Hunt, PT, DPT, ATC is a physical therapist and athletic trainer specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. Her professional interests include working with young and adult athletes, ski conditioning, and injury prevention. Jami earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University and her doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center. In her free time she enjoys tennis, golf, snowboarding, skiing, and spending time with her family.

    Biography

    Emily Ohlin, PT, SCS specializes in working with patients with lower extremity injuries (hip, knee, ankle, and foot). She enjoys working with athletes to return them to sport as quickly and safely as possible, reducing the risk of re-injury. Emily has special interest is assisting cyclists on and off the bike in bike fitting for comfort, injury prevention, and performance enhancement, as well as correcting movement dysfunction to reduce injury risk.

    Emily is board certified as a sports specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association, and is a member of the Oregon Physical Therapy Association and the International Sports Physical Therapy Association. She is licensed to practice in both Idaho and Oregon. She has presented at professional conferences on functional testing for return to sport; assessment and treatment for the athlete's pelvis; sacrum and lumbar spine for ATC; and lower extremity biomechanics of cycling and bike fit.

    Originally from Ohio, Emily earned her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Marquette University. In her free time, she enjoys biking and skiing.

    Andi Braddock, PT, DPT treats patients with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses and focuses on empowering people to reach their rehabilitation goals.

    Andi earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Willamette University and her doctorate of physical therapy from Regis University. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, trail running, backpacking, skiing, and rock climbing.

    Emily Thomas, PT, DPT, SCS treats patients with a variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses and is passionate about empowering people to reach their rehabilitation goals. She has particular interests in gait mechanics, functional movement, pain science, and return to sport.

    Emily earned her bachelor's degree in human physiology from Gonzaga University, where she was an athlete in cross country running and track. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing with her dog, hiking, and fly fishing.

    Joel E. VanderLugt, PT, DPT, SCS is a board certified sports clinical specialist with expertise in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He earned his bachelor's degree in physical education and exercise science from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and his doctorate in physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. Joel's professional interests include sports performance, working with overhead athletes, and rehabilitation after concussion. When he's not working, he enjoys the Boise foothills, playing tennis and basketball, working on his house, and exploring the Northwest with his wife and dog.

    Biography

    Shawn Wood, PT, DPT, OCS is a certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and is the outpatient spine program manager for St. Luke's Adult Rehabilitation. He specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions in patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, and enjoys educating patients on their health while working with them to keep active throughout their lives.

    Shawn also works with spinal dysfunction, athletic injuries, chronic pain, vestibular dysfunction and complex syndromes including hypermobility, concussion syndromes.
