Machine-Readable Files for Items and Services

To view our standard charges in machine-readable format, please view links below. These charges do not necessarily reflect what you would pay for services, particularly if you are insured. For more information, call (208) 814-7550.

  • Notes re: Standard Charges

      1. “N/A” noted within a rate field indicates the plan listed does not have a contracted or historic rate associated with that charge for the setting indicated (e.g., a payor would not have a contracted ED rate for a DRG which applies only to inpatient).
      2. "0" noted within a rate field indicates we expect reimbursement of $0 based on our negotiated contract with that payor.
      3. Drug prices may vary based on quantity and cost to hospital. Supply prices may vary based on manufacturer's cost to hospital.
      4. For several charges, pricing varies. Typically, a charge varies for one of these reasons:

        • Unlisted procedure: Some procedures do not exactly match an existing billing code. To determine the appropriate charge amount, we consider the most similar procedure along with the procedure's relative complexity (more, less, same)
        • External lab: The charge amount is based on St. Luke's cost to use an external lab for test results
        • Partial hospitalization: for many psychological and psychiatric services, charges are bundled daily and billed monthly.
  • Insurance Providers

    • Your financial responsibility will be dependent on your insurance plan. Some insurance companies provide online estimator tools to help you calculate what your out-of-pocket obligation may be, based on your own benefits.

All claims are subject to the carrier’s medical review according to the information submitted by the provider of service and are subject to eligibility at the time of service, benefit maximums and other terms of the member’s contract.
