Meet Our Parent Mentors

Lesa

Lesa

Lesa is a mentor for parents caring for a child with moderate-severe-profound hearing loss with a cochlear implant and/or hearing aids. She also offers mentorship related to audiology and speech and language therapy care services. She has experience with the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind.

I am the mother of six children. Two daughters, Corinne and Emily, were born with moderate-severe-profound hearing loss. Emily wears hearing aids and Corinne wears a hearing aid and a cochlear implant. These women have now graduated from college! Emily has a degree in advertising and is employed with an ad agency. Corinne is an audiologist practicing at St. Luke’s. Both Emily and Corinne are active in all kinds of sports and play the piano. We love living in Idaho and our family explores national parks as often as possible.

I have been involved in hearing loss family support for many years. We have had such good experiences with our hearing loss journey and our daughters are excelling. I'd love to visit with you and support you on your journey!
