About Brian D. Matteson

Biography

Brian Matteson, MD, FACS, RPVI specializes in carotid artery disease, aortic and peripheral aneurysms, peripheral artery disease, hemodialysis access, varicose vein treatment, and minimally invasive endovascular and open surgical modalities. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Matteson earned his bachelor's degree in physiology from the University of Minnesota. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of New Mexico, and his vascular fellowship at the University of Utah.
