About Joy Hoffman

Biography

Joy Hoffman, SLP has experience working with pediatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, school, and home health care settings. She has special interests in augmentative alternative communication (AAC), articulation, language, and fluency.

Joy is an energetic, compassionate, and empathetic therapist who is committed to creating a rewarding experience for her patients and their families. Her goal is to share knowledge as her patients' therapist and biggest supporter – celebrating their triumphs and encouraging them through difficulties. She is dedicated to empowering her patients and helping them find their own voice.

Originally from Georgia, Joy earned a master's degree in communicative sciences and disorders from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is proud to be part of the Army family; her father is retired from service and her husband is active duty.

In their free time, Joy and her husband love to travel and also enjoy overland camping, fly-fishing, and hiking with their beloved dog.
