Clinical Continuing Education

The Office of Clinical Continuing Education exists to provision valid and independent educational content to physicians and interprofessional teams.  We strive to contribute to improvements in learners’ competence and performance as well as improvements in patient and system outcomes.

Information and Resources

For Providers 

We are accredited by the Utah Medical Association (UMA) and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for providers. 

We can partner with your team to plan clinical education activities and series.

For Nurses

We are approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Montana Nurses Association (MNA), an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

We provide credentialed courses that will meet your certification and licensure needs.


Joint Providership

If you are a St. Luke’s affiliate, we can partner with you to provide continuing education credits for an activity or series. We're ready to help you explore joint providership opportunities.

Note: St. Luke's currently provides continuing medical education (CME) and nursing continuing professional development (NCPD). Fees are subject to change.

  • Joint Providership Series Fee Structure for Affiliates

    A course is identified as a Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) when it is planned to have:

    • multiple sessions that occur on an ongoing basis (generally offered weekly, monthly, or quarterly),
    • is primarily planned by and presented to the organization’s professional staff.
    Examples of activities that are planned and presented as a Regularly Scheduled Series: Grand Rounds, Case Conferences, and Tumor Boards.

    Series (Quarterly): $300 $450 $600
    Series (Monthly): $450 $675 $900
  • Joint Providership Activity Fees for Affiliates

    A course that does not include the features of a regularly scheduled series is considered an activity. 

    Activities can be:

    • a one-time course or annual activity that happens once a year, and/or
    • can be offered at various locations, but includes the same speakers, objectives and content, and
    • can be planned by and presented to both internal and external providers.
    Examples of activities that are planned and presented as an Activity: Conferences, Symposia, and Seminars

    1 – 4 hour activity: $150 $225 $300
    4+ hour - 1-day activity: $300 $450 $600
