  • The patient must schedule visitors during regularly scheduled visitation hours: 12-1 p.m. and 6-7 p.m.
  • Each patient may have either two 1/2-hour visits or a single 1-hour visit per day, unless approved by the patient's treatment team.
  • Each patient is allowed up to two visitors at a time.
  • The patient has the right to cancel a visit at any time.
  • All visitors must display appropriate behaviors and abide by the visitation rules.
Visitation may be limited or canceled at the discretion of the treatment team.

Entry Requirements

To ensure the safety and comfort of our patients, all visitors are subject to a screening process before entry to Canyon View to identify items that could pose a risk to hospitalized patients. As such, patient and visitor belongings are searched at the time of entry. A complete list of prohibited items is posted at the Canyon View entrance and includes items such as electrical cords, recording devices, glass items, cans, belts, nail files, matches, plastic bags, and more.
