At St. Luke's Children's Rehabilitation, our team provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, and counseling to meet the diverse needs of the children we treat. We help kids of all ages and developmental levels improve their quality of life and become more independent.
We provide services for kids with diagnoses including, but not limited to ADHD, Asperger’s, autism, cerebral palsy, developmental coordination disorder, developmental disabilities, Down syndrome, genetic syndromes, hearing impairment, juvenile arthritis, learning disabilities, muscular dystrophy, non-verbal learning disorder, pediatric voiding dysfunction, sensory integration dysfunction, spina bifida, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, torticollis, dysphagia and plagiocephaly.
And, we offer developmental assessments, advanced gait evaluations, and seating and technology training for children who use wheelchairs, orthotics, prosthetics, or augmentative communication devices.
Denise Anderson, MS, OTR/L enjoys working with kids who struggle to meet their daily demands and are in need of education or adaptations to overcome limiting factors.
Denise earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Eastern Washington University and her master's degree in occupational therapy from Barry University. In her free time, she enjoys photography, running, and any excuse to get out into the sunshine.
Favorite Therapy Toy: the game Quoridor.
Mindi Walters, MS, CCC-SLP enjoys working with language delays in both preschool and adolescent age groups. She is certified in Hanen's It Takes Two to Talk® and works in both outpatient rehabilitation and with the NICU follow-up clinic.
Mindi is an Idaho native and earned her master's degree in speech language pathology from Idaho State University.
Favorite Therapy Toy: Mr. Potato Head.
Jennifer Hietala, MS, SLP specializes in feeding, lactation, and swallowing disorders, and is certified in VitalStim®.
Jennifer earned her bachelor's degree in health science studies from Boise State University and her master's degree in speech language pathology from Idaho State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

Holly Hubbard, PT, DPT enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities and has training in reflex integration, toe walking, pediatric gait, and wheelchair seating and mobility. She enjoys the challenges of her job and helping kids play and reach their potential. Her favorite therapy toy is the bolster swing.
Holly earned her bachelor's degree in health science from Boise State University and her doctorate of physical therapy from Eastern Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Ashley Kossick, MS, CCC-SLP enjoys working with patients of all ages, and especially loves pediatrics.
Ashley earned her bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology and audiology with a minor in family studies from Andrews University and her master's degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Vermont. She completed her clinical fellowship in a skilled nursing facility and has several years of experience in both in- and out-patient rehabilitation. Ashley also obtained a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology and is SOS feeding trained.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys snowboarding, backpacking, camping, art projects, and spending time with her family and their dogs. She has training in basic American Sign Language and the SOS approach to feeding.

Anne Kuhlmeier, MA, CCC/SLP, ATP earned her master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and obtained her clinical competency certification in speech/language pathology, assistive technology professional certification from RESNA, and completed specialized training from CASANA on childhood apraxia of speech.
In her free time, Anne enjoys skiing, hiking, sewing, and cooking.

Kerry Leavell, LCPC, MT-BC has special training in use of creative arts therapies, including music therapy, with individuals of all cognitive ability levels. She has particular interest in ADHD (and its unique presentation in girls), autism, and mood/anxiety disorders.
Kerry earned her bachelor's degree in music performance at Wheaton College and her master's degree in expressive therapies and mental health counseling at Lesley University.
Trisha McGough, MS, CCC-SLP earned her bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology and audiology and her master's degree in speech-language pathology, both from Idaho State University. She completed her clinical fellowship with St. Luke's Elks Children's Rehabilitation in Nampa. She has a special interest in orofacial myofunctional therapy.
In her free time, Trisha enjoys weight lifting, dance, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Favorite Therapy Toy: Marble Maze.
Mike Wagner, MSOTR/L earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science and his master's degree in occupational therapy, both from the University of Mary. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and hiking and golfing.
Favorite Book or Therapy Toy: Every child is so different that Mike doesn't have a favorite. He loves meeting kids where they are and engaging them in their interests.
