Editor’s note: The St. Luke’s Health System Board of Directors recently approved our organization’s three-year strategic plan, and we’d like to share the exciting directions we’re headed with our patients, their families, our communities and all the members of the St. Luke’s extended team and family. These two short videos show how health care is so often now for patients and families and the vision St. Luke’s has for evolving to better meet patients’ needs, improve outcomes and lower costs.

David C. Pate, M.D., J.D., previously served as president and CEO of St. Luke's Health System, based in Boise, Idaho. Dr. Pate joined the System in 2009 and retired in 2020. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
