CAR T-cell therapy uses the patient's own T-cells to attack and kill cancer cells, and is highly effective in stopping advanced cancers. The FDA has approved CAR T-cell therapy to treat several types of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Research trials are underway exploring treating cancers of the breast, colon, brain, and lungs.

Donations will help us purchase expensive equipment and expand space at St. Luke’s to offer this valuable cancer therapy. Our goal is to deliver all of a patient's CAR T-cell care in one outpatient clinic space, only sending patients to the hospital if they need hospitalization.

Patients must live within 30 minutes of CAR T-cell therapy treatment centers for weeks at a time.

We are proud to offer this potentially life-saving therapy in Idaho, close to our patients' homes.
We're happy to answer questions about potential donations to St. Luke's. Please call Christen Wilmer, St. Luke's Health Foundation's Director of Major and Planned Giving at (208) 505-2981 or email her today! Thank you for caring for your community.
